On Tuesday, January 10th, the Home Depot in Niagara Falls held their Children's Workshop from 7:00-9:00pm. The Niagara IceDogs' mascot Bones and the four members of the Canadian World Junior Team were in attendance to lend a helping hand.
One area of the store was set up for the children and their parents to build small projects together, such as picture frames and bird houses, while another was set up with a hockey net where the children could shoot on a goalie to win prizes. There was also a draw for Niagara IceDogs tickets.
Bones, and Canadian World Juniors Mark Visentin, Ryan Strome, Freddie and Dougie Hamilton split time between the construction area, helping the children build their projects, and signing autographs for all of the event attendees.
