Niagara Falls Wraps Up Community Skates for Season

February 23, 2010

The Niagara IceDogs, in conjunction with RBC, held their fifth and final Community Skate of the season Tuesday night in Niagara Falls at the outdoor rink located on Queen St.

The players spent an hour on the ice with the fans skating and signing autographs for everyone in attendance.

The fans that came out all had a great time and stayed warm by enjoying some free hot chocolate, courtesy of RBC.

With Tuesday's skate, the IceDogs have wrapped up their second year of community skates, having visited Jordan, Lincoln, Wainfleet, Welland, and Niagara Falls this season.  We would like to thank all the fans that came out again this year to our Community Skates, helping them to be a great success once again.

It is this type of fan support from throughout the Niagara Region that proves the IceDogs have the best fans in the league.

The IceDogs are counting on this type of continued support at the Gatorade Garden City Complex in the coming weeks, as they make their push into what will hopefully be a long playoff run!

Tickets for all remaining IceDogs regular season games are still available and can be purchased at any IceDogs ticketing location.  Details for individual game playoff ticket sales will be made available on the IceDogs website closer to the end of the regular season, so keep your eyes on the website for more information!

So thank you fans once again for all your support and we look forward to seeing you at the rink!
