The Niagara IceDogs have selected defenceman Matthew Alexander from the Thunder Bay Kings with their 11th round pick, 207th overall.

Alexander is a 6'1", 175 lbs. Thunder Bay native, who put up 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 36 games this past season.

The IceDogs organization would like to welcome Matthew to the organization and look forward to seeing him in Niagara in the near future.
