The Niagara IceDogs are facing a do or die game four at home tonight against the visiting Ottawa 67's. The IceDogs trail the series 3-0, after three straight heartbreaking losses which, with a bounce or two, could all have been won by the IceDogs. Regardless however the bounces have not gone the IceDogs way and they find themselves facing elimination.
Adversity is nothing new to this group however, with the team having been written off by many who gave them little hope of even making the playoffs at Christmas time. The IceDogs however battled back with a strong late season push and they will need those types of performances over the rest of the series as they look to battle back in the series.
There are still 150 seats plus standing room available for tonight's game and the IceDogs will need all the help from the fans they can get as they go into battle tonight. The attendance was a somewhat disappointing 2781 on Tuesday night for their playoff opener after a regular season average of almost 3000.
The IceDogs need their fans support now more than ever, so let's pack the rink tonight and show Ottawa what the Niagara region is made of!
