IceDogs Hit The Water For Fishing Outing

The Niagara IceDogs hit the water in Lake Ontario on Monday for a team fishing expedition and caught numerous fish including salmon and a steelhead trout in what will hopefully be a good sign leading up to their game with the Mississauga Steelheads on Thursday night.

The IceDogs headed out on five boats, departing from Port Dalhousie and going out about five miles for their fishing adventure.

All together the team caught about 15 fish with the boat of Billy Burke, Joey Burke, Brian Brosnan, Jesse Graham, Aaron Haydon, Broderick Kelly, Brent Moran and Shayne Rover catching the most fish with six, including 14 and 17 pound fish.

After a great team building day on the water of Lake Ontario, the IceDogs will now return to the frozen version, as they hit the ice in preparation for Thursday's home game against Mississauga.
