The Niagara IceDogs saw their six game winning streak come to an end Saturday night as they fell to the Sudbury Wolves by a score of 3-2 in front of a sell out crowd of 3,145.

The first period saw the IceDogs fall behind early by a score of 2-0, but Tom Kuhnhackl would celebrate his birthday by quickly answering Sudbury's second goal with a goal of his own to close the score to 2-1.  Sudbury would restore the two goal lead late in the period, making it 3-1 after one.

The second period would see Andrew Agozzino continue his strong weekend with a pair of goals to tie things up at 3-3.  The score would not last however as the Wolves beat IceDogs starter Christopher Festarini before the end of the period to make it 4-3 after 40 minutes.

The IceDogs would pressure Wolves starter Joel Vienneau throughout the third, peppering him with 14 shots in the frame, but would not be able to beat him, as the game would end in a 4-3 IceDogs loss.  Final shots in the game were 46-31 in favour of Niagara.

Agozzino led the IceDogs attack with a pair of goals, while Festarini made 27 saves in the loss.

The IceDogs will look to bounce back quickly as they play host to the Peterborough Petes tomorrow afternoon at 2pm at the Gatorade Garden City Complex.  Approximately 150 seats plus standing room still remain for tomorrow's game and can be purchased at all IceDogs ticket outlets.
