IceDogs and Petes to Meet in Home and Home Battles

December 10, 2009

The Niagara IceDogs are set to take on the Peterborough Petes in a home and home, which concludes Saturday in Niagara.  500 seats plus standing room still remain for Saturday's game.

The Niagara IceDogs are set to take the road to begin a home and home against the Peterborough Petes this weekend, starting Thursday night in Peterborough with the puck drop set for 7:00 p.m.

The two teams will then travel back to Niagara as the Dogs play host to the Petes Saturday night, December 12th, also with a 7:00 p.m. start time.

These games will be the second and third meetings of the season between the two teams, with Peterborough having taken home a hard fought 3-2 win over the IceDogs in their last trip to Niagara on November 21st.

There are still great seats available, with 500 seats plus standing room remaining for Saturday's home game.  Tickets can be purchased at any IceDogs ticketing location. Hurry up and get your tickets, as there are only two IceDogs home games left before Christmas.

Peterborough is sitting on top of the East Division with a record of 16-15-0-2, and the IceDogs are looking to add two losses to the Petes record.

Niagara looks for recently named Captain Andrew Agozzino to lead the team to a pair of victories. Fans can also expect big weekends from Alex Friesen, Reggie Traccitto, and goaltender Mark Visentin.
