Hockey Night in St. Catharines Coming August 13th!

May 19, 2010

The Niagara IceDogs are teaming up with St. Catharines MP Rick Dykstra as he hosts Hockey Night in St. Catharines Friday, August 13th at 7pm at the Gatorade Garden City Complex.

The game will feature NHL Alumni, members of the local community and the Federal Conservative Caucus teaming up to put on what should be a great game and fun night, with all proceeds going to support a great cause in the United Way of St. Catharines & District.

The economy has garnered much attention over the last year and the truth is that many families in our own community have been hurt by things well beyond their control.  The United Way serves these families with a comprehensive and collaborative approach which helps our community like few other organizations.  It is for this reason that Rick Dykstra has chosen to have the proceeds go towards this worthy cause.

Tickets will be available starting Wednesday, May 26th at 9am and will be available through the IceDogs office and Ticketmaster outlets, with all tickets priced at $10.

VIP packages, along with participating NHL alumni, celebrity guests and all further details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Hockey Night in St. Catharines follows in the footsteps of successful events in other municipalities, including the first-ever Hockey Night, which took place in Barrie in 2008.

We are certainly confident that Hockey Night in St. Catharines will continue that string of success and look forward to what will hopefully be a packed Gatorade Garden City Complex.
