Recent Niagara IceDogs Draft Picks Jesse Graham, Billy Jenkins, Joel Wigle, Maxim Lamontagne, and Davis Boyer have all been selected to U17 Team Ontario's Selection Camp from July 6-10 in Oshawa.

Graham, the IceDogs first pick, 6th overall, came through the GTHL's evaluation camp as one of twelve players selected to move on.

Jenkins, the IceDogs first pick of the second round, 25th overall, moved on to the camp as one of the ODHA's twelve selections.

Wigle, Niagara's second pick of the second round, 39th overall was one of ten players selected to move on to the Provincial Camp from Alliance Hockey.

Finally the NOHA's camps saw two IceDogs picks selected to move on the provincial camp, with Lamontagne (8th round, 147th overall) and Boyer (13th round, 247th overall) both among the twelve players advancing.

These five IceDogs picks will be among 80 of the top 16-year-old hockey players in the province who will convene for the provincial camp after advancing from their regional camps, which were conducted throughout the province.

The provincial camp provides the players with an intense, high-calibre training opportunity, while also serving as a learning experience for the participants, both on and off the ice.  The camp also helps facilitate the process of identifying players who will be selected to represent Team Ontario at the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge, which will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba this year from December 28th, 2010 to January 4th, 2011.

These picks will be looking to follow in the footsteps of current IceDogs Andrew Agozzino, Mark Visentin, Freddie Hamilton and Dougie Hamilton, as well as former IceDog Matt Corrente who all have been a part of Team Ontario at the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in past years.
