Luca Caputi capped a memorable comeback during the IceDogs first trip to the historic Memorial Centre in Kingston when he potted his team leading 28th goal of the season to give the IceDogs the win Friday night. The goal with under 5 minutes to play in the third period capped a hard fought comeback highlighted by a two goal performance by Michael Swift and the second consecutive multi point night by Jordan Foreman.

Kingston took an early lead as the Frontenacs leading scorer Nathan Moon scored his 14th goal of a season, a shorthanded mark at the 3:30 mark of the first period. The Frontenacs extended the lead to 2-0 when Bobby Minardi set up his second goal of the period on Jesse Brown's power play goal at the 12:07 mark.

After the Frontenacs pulled ahead 3-0 on a power play goal by Josh Britton at the 1:18 the IceDogs would storm back to tie the game after 3 goals of their own. Andrew Merritt (9) put the Dogs on the board after he fired a shot high on the blocker side at 6:55 of the second period. One minute late the IceDogs would cut the lead to one when Michael Swift (14) scored on a breakaway after a beautiful pass by Alex Freisen. Jason Bergeron (7) then tied the game at 13:09 after he took a pass by Luca Caputi at the blue line and turned the Kingston defenceman inside out on one of the nicest goals of the season. After Caputi capped the comeback with under 5 minutes to play, Michael Swift scored his second goal of the night and 15th of the season on the power play to secure the win.

The IceDogs host the Frontenacs Sunday afternoon at the Gatorade Garden City Complex, game time is 2:00. It is expected that IceDogs forward Andrew Agozzino and Head Coach Mario Cicchillo will be back after their golden performance at the Under 17 World Championships.
