Buxton Named to Canada Summer U18 Support Staff
Niagara IceDogs Equipment Manager Garry Buxton has been named Camp Equipment Manager for the Canadian National Summer Under-18 team.
Niagara IceDogs Equipment Manager Garry Buxton has been named Camp Equipment Manager for the Canadian National Summer Under-18 team.
Buxton will travel to Calgary to assist with the team's selection camp which will take place in early August. While there he will be resonsible for helping players with all equipment related matters as they progress through the camp.
The team will be picked from that camp and then head to the 2010 Memory of Ivan Hlinka Tournament in Slovakia and the Czech Republic from August 10-14th.
Buxton recently completed his fourth season with the IceDogs, having spent one season with the IceDogs in Mississauga before moving with them to Niagara. He also will be with the IceDogs for years to come, having recently signed a 5 year contract to remain with the IceDogs as equipment manager.
