Bones was out at Merrittville Speedway this past Saturday night to join Fred Carleton and the #96 Niagara IceDogs car for National Autism Awareness and Autograph Night at the track.
Bones and Fred were a huge hit during the autograph session, signing autographs for hundreds of excited fans in attendance.
When it got to racing Fred and the #96 IceDogs car would get things started in the 16th position for the feature. Despite getting caught in a tough spot early on, Carleton would keep charging forward in the second half of the race picking up numerous spots for a 7th place finish.
After the race, Bones and Fred would once again greet a large crowd in the pits, doing everything they could to send the fans home happy.
In addition to Bones being in attendance, the IceDogs also made a prize donation for the night, sending some excited fans home with autographed sticks and certificates for tickets to a game next year.
The night as a whole was a great success and the IceDogs would like to encourage fans to head out to Merrittville Speedway on Saturday nights to cheer on Fred Carleton as he races his #96 IceDogs car all summer long!
