Archibald Signs with Vancouver Canucks

Newly acquired IceDogs forward Darren Archibald has signed a contract with the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League.

The overage forward will be on the ice again tonight for his third game as an IceDog, having picked up one assist and a shootout goal in his first game as an IceDog.  Archibald is on pace for his best OHL season, having accumulated 18 goals and 13 assists for 31 points in 24 games so far this season.

In 151 career OHL games, the Newmarket native has 69 goals and 70 assists for 139 points, to go along with 118 penalty minutes.

The entire IceDogs organization would like to congratulate Darren on the signing and look forward to his continued success in an IceDogs uniform!
